Be Careful What You Wish, You Just Might Get It!

The Holy Bible

From The Book of First Samuel

Chapter 8,
Verses 1-22

KJV

Now Make Us A King to Judge Us Like All The Nations!

1   And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel.

2   Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, Abiah; they were judges in Beer-sheba.

3   And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment.

4   Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah,

5   And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
6   But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.

7   And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

8   According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.
9   Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.

10   And Samuel told all the words of the LORD unto the people that asked of him a king.

11
And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots.

12   And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots.
13   And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers.
14   And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants.

15   And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants.

16   And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work.

17   He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants.

18   And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.

19   Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us;

20   That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.

21   And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he rehearsed them in the ears of the LORD.

22   And the LORD said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king. And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man unto his city.

The Vatican's View on The Tragedy of Abortion

I have received permission from The Vatican via, Father G. J. W, of The Pontificia Academia Pro Vita to post the following: "Pope John Paul II, Letter to Cardinal Bernard Law Archbishop of Boston (USA)"   copyrighted 1997.

First a little Bellowing Commentary from The Bear

If any of you folks doubt The Roman Catholic doctrine concerning the right to life of the infant the born and unborn and the Vatican's condemning of not only the "holocaust" of abortion (especially partial birth infantacide) on demand but euthanasia as well.  It is spelled out perfectly here.

It is important to note Pope John Paul II was a very loving, merciful, kind, and forgiving man who also recognized the despair and regret of most woman after deciding to end the life of their unborn child.  Pope John Paul II acknowledged the human condition and the sinful depravity of mankind who's ultimate redemption is found at the cross of Jesus Christ, through His death and resurrection.

Now Having Said That...

I would also remind people of the abomination of the abortion industry who carries out these murders in the name of a woman's right to choose through Planned Parenthood and other's of it's ilk.  These people in the guise of "Medical Professionals" loosely named doctor's and nurses have forsaken the Hippocratic oath of "first do no harm" for monetary gain at the expense of misinformed and desperate minorities and or impoverished women.   They are using the we the taxpayers to accomplish their mission of decreasing the surplus population for the sake of the god of the environment.  We are no better than China who still practices this abomination and now suffers from a shortage of females in the population because of this.

We are swiftly becoming the poster-child for a once Democratic Republic that wishes to try Socialism, Marxism and Godlessness (as if we were going through some type of adolescent destruction already), while witnessing other countries realizing that Socialism Does Not Work.  How stupid a nation are we becoming??

LETTER OF JOHN PAUL II
TO CARDINAL BERNARD LAW
ARCHBISHOP OF BOSTON (U.S.A.)

To my Venerable Brother
Cardinal Bernard Law
Archbishop of Boston

As you, your Brother Bishops and great numbers of the faithful from throughout the United States gather at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception to pray for an end to the tragedy of abortion in your country, I assure you of my spiritual closeness and my sharing in your concern for the continuing holocaust of innocent human lives. The 25th anniversary of the decision which effectively legalized abortion on demand in the United States is a call to people of goodwill to reflect seriously on the devastating consequences of that step. Now is the time for recommitment to the building of a culture of absolute respect for life from conception to natural death.

As the experience of the past 25 years has shown, legalized abortion has been a destructive force in the lives of many individuals, especially women who are often left alone to bear the deep sorrow and regret which follow the decision to destroy the life of an unborn child. But the proliferation of procured abortions has also had deleterious effects on society at large, not least in a weakening of respect for the life of the elderly and the infirm, and a coarsening of the moral sense. When the killing of the innocent is sanctioned by law, the distinction between good and evil is obscured and society is led to justify even such clearly immoral procedures as partial-birth abortion.

Amid the grave threats to human dignity and freedom represented by abortion, euthanasia and other crimes against God's gift of life, it is a positive sign of the times that, through the efforts of a broad spectrum of concerned citizens, there has been a gradual mobilization of consciences in support of life. As part of this great affirmation of the Gospel of life, I urge you to continue your praiseworthy efforts to educate people about the evil of abortion, to offer counsel, encouragement and help to women and families in difficult situations, and to continue to seek full legal protection for the unborn.

In particular, I call upon young men and women to involve themselves in this great campaign in defence of God's gift of life. You are a sign of hope to the Church and the world. Do not be discouraged or afraid! The risen Lord calls us all to proclaim, celebrate and serve life, and he will give us the strength to accomplish his will.

In union with all who have assembled to pray for a new culture of life in the United States and throughout the world, I place this intention before Mary Immaculate, Mother of the Redeemer. As a pledge of joy and peace in our Lord Jesus Christ, I cordially impart my Apostolic Blessing.

From the Vatican, 29 December 1997.

IOANNES PAULUS PP. II

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
CNN Reports That Obama's Relationship With Ayers Is "Much Deeper Than Obama Said"

"But the relationship between Obama and Ayers went much deeper, ran much longer, and was much more political than Obama said." -- CNN's Drew Griffin

CNN Report
CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360"
October 6, 2008

CNN's Drew Griffin: "Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, in the 1960s and '70s, were radical, members of the Weather Underground, an anti-Vietnam war group that bombed federal buildings including the U.S. Capitol and the Pentagon.

"On the run for years, the case against them was thrown out due to illegal wiretaps and prosecutor misconduct. Ayers has never repented and has said as late as 2001, he wished he had done more to stop the war. Barack Obama confirmed during a primary debate that he knew Ayers and when pressed, said they served on a charitable foundation board together. And Obama condemned Ayers support of violence. But the relationship between Obama and Ayers went much deeper, ran much longer, and was much more political than Obama said."

Obama Senior Adviser Anita Dunn: "What they are arguing is that somehow the fact that these two people who served both educational reformers in Chicago, both of whom did have their paths cross professionally as well as neighbors occasionally. But somehow this association is a problem for Barack Obama because of Bill Ayers past and things that happened in the 1960s when Barack Obama was 7 years old.

"And that's just wrong and, frankly, it's quite unfair."

Griffin: "One place their paths repeatedly crossed, according to a CNN review of board minutes and other records, was Chicago's Annenberg Challenge project where a $50 million grant from the Annenberg Foundation matched locally raised funds to improve schools.

"According to participants and project records, Bill Ayers fought to bring the Annenberg grant to Chicago, Barack Obama was recruited as its chair. For seven years, Bill Ayers and Obama among many others, worked on funding for education projects, including some experiments supported by Ayers.

"Stanley Kurtz, a conservative researcher for the Ethics and Public Policy Center has also been reviewing the recently released records of Chicago's Annenberg's challenge."

National Review Online's Stanley Kurtz: "Instead of giving money directly to schools, they gave money to what they called external partners, and these external partners were often pretty radical community organizer groups."

Griffin: "And the board gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to Bill Ayers' small schools project promoting alternative education like 'The Peace School,' where the curriculum centered around a United Nations theme, and another school where the focus was, African- American studies.

"And this was directly funded by Annenberg?"

Kurtz: "Oh, yes."

Griffin: "Under Obama's chairmanship?"

Kurtz: "Oh yes and the specific job of the board of directors was to give out the money."

Griffin: "While continuing work on the Annenberg Challenge, Barack Obama and Bill Ayers also served together on a second charitable foundation, the Woods Fund. Among its recipients, Jeremiah Wright's Trinity United Church where Obama attended and a Children and Family Justice Center, where Ayers' wife worked. Ayers has strong defenders in Chicago, among them Richard Daly, the mayor, who called Ayers a valued member of the Chicago community. The city gave Ayers its Citizen of the Year award in 1997 for his work on the Annenberg project.

"For Obama, the chairmanship of the $100 million Annenberg board, helped vault him from Southside Chicago lawyer to political player. And that, too, has another connection to Bill Ayers.

"In 1995, months after the little known Barack Obama became Annenberg project chair, State Senator Alice Palmer introduced the young Obama as her political heir apparent.

"Where was that introduction made? At the home of the '60s radicals, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. The Obama campaign again says it is just a coincidence."

Dunn: "A Democratic state senator organizes a meeting of her supporters at the house of another one of her supporters. What is the problem here, Drew? It is the worst kind of inference and the worst kind of politics to say that somehow that says something about Barack Obama."

Griffin: "Anderson, this meeting at Bill Ayers home has been classified in many different ways. What I can tell you from the two people who were actually there, is number one, former Senator Alice Palmer says she, in no way organized this meeting and she was invited and attended it briefly. And Doctor Quentin Young, a retired doctor, told us this indeed was Barack Obama's political coming out party and it was hosted by Bill Ayers."

Cooper: "So Drew, I mean bottom line, if Obama and Ayers worked together with others to -- I guess improve schools, what exactly is the McCain-Palin camp saying is wrong with this relationship or this working relationship? Or however you want to characterize it?"

Griffin: "Well Anderson, I haven't contacted the campaign on this issue. What they're saying on the stump is the same thing that Hillary Clinton brought up during the primary campaign is the issue of trust.

"By raising this issue of Bill Ayers, and whether or not Barack Obama was hanging around him, palling around with him, or just working with him, Bill Ayers in the '60s had a very, very different view of the United States that many Americans did. A lot of Americans were against the Vietnam War but not a lot of Americans formed a group and started bombing things because of it.

"Now, they're trying to say that that raises judgment issues on Barack Obama. Which has been the tag other campaigns and now McCain's have been trying to peg on him ever since he started running for president."

Cooper: "But Barack Obama has publicly stated he does not agree with this guy?"

Griffin: "Correct. Well, he has said that he does -- I forget his exact words but he's certainly deplores the violence in the past."

Cooper: "Right."

Griffin: "I haven't been able to ask him directly about the relationship he has or had with Bill Ayers."

Phillies National League East Champs

I want to say with all my heart, thank-you Phillies.

The Philadelphia Phillies, my favorite baseball team, never do anything easy.  I think Jimmy Rollins said that and you know, he is right.  Tonight, the Phillies clinched the National League East Title, and at the same time proved they can give you anxiety, keep you riveted to the TV and still win the game.  They are truly amazing.  The Phillies always keep you guessing from game to game.  You just never know, will they win, will they lose.  Sometimes the anxiety goes from inning to inning, but just when you think they are down and out all of the sudden bats start swingin' and baseballs start flyin' and you are pleasantly surprised and most grateful.  Even when you guys lose I still love ya's.

This game, however was something special from the start, everybody was functioning well, everyone was on their game.  They took the opportunities to advance runners with sacrifice fly-balls, singles, doubles and a home-run.  You guys did it all.  The Mets said it best, the Phillies are most dangerous when backed against the wall and this season was no exception.  There were times when I could see that wall rising in the distance and it was indeed close.

I want to thank tonights participants in the 9 inning cliffhanger starting with Ryan Howard,(aka Big Brown), Chase Utley, Shane Victorino("The Flyin' Hawaiian"), Jimmy Rollins(J-Roll), Pat Burrell(Pat the Bat), Pedro Feliz, (after tonights game he shall be known as "Happy Pete" or "Pete Happy"), Jason Werth(definitely Worth-It), Carlos Ruiz, to our pitchers-starter WP - Jamie Moyer("The Oldest Pitcher in Baseball at 45 Years Old") and closer- SV- Brad Lidge(Lights-Out Lidge).   Let us not forget Charlie Manuel, Phillies Manager and The Coaches.

Every player on this Phillies' team has that potential to add that extra-zing to the game.  We have witnessed some amazing wins.  When the Phillies are playing well they are unstopable.

Tonight, I especially want to thank our pitchers for a job well done. Jamie Moyers you rock, you prove in every game you play, that it doesn't matter what your age, you can aspire and achieve excellence.  Even after a rocky inning you have the grace to keep going and you don't whine about it.  I am very pleased though, you won this game.  Brad Lidge, you are the man, 41 saves out of 41 closings you are incredible and the fact you still wanted to close even if it wasn't a close situation, speaks volumes.

Listen you guys, my parting comment tonight is this.  Keep going, nurture that extra-zing you need to win the playoffs.  Stay peaceful and keep things in perspective and absolutely No Whining.  I will be praying for your safety and your success.  God Bless You.

Recent Obama Ads More Negative Than Rival's, Study Says

By Howard Kurtz

Washington Post

Despite perceptions that Sen. John McCain has spent more time on the attack, Sen. Barack Obama aired more negative advertising last week than did the Arizona Republican, says a study released yesterday.

Seventy-seven percent of the Illinois Democrat's commercials were negative during the week after the Republican National Convention, compared with 56 percent of the spots run by McCain.

Our View On Bipartisanship: Who's The Better Uniter?

Editorial

USA Today

Thursday, September 18, 2008

McCain has a longer record of bucking his party's orthodoxy.

Presidents who try to push through major policy changes without the opposing party almost always come to grief. George W. Bush's bid to create private accounts for Social Security collapsed in 2005 when Democrats rejected it.  A decade earlier, Bill Clinton's health care overhaul died for lack of Republican input and support.

The End Of The Bridge To Nowhere

How Sarah Palin killed a costly project.

By Fred Barnes

Weekly Standard

September 18, 2008

LIBERAL COLUMNISTS AND the mainstream media have been unusually tolerant of Barack Obama's exaggerated claims of major legislative accomplishments.  Just this week, Obama said his proposal was the "basis" for the economic stimulus package that was enacted last winter, a claim even Democrats regard as false.  But Sarah Palin's insistence that, as governor of Alaska, she killed the infamous Bridge to Nowhere--that's another story. She's accused of lying by the Obama-leaning media.

She isn't lying.  Palin did kill the bridge. It wasn't an act of great political courage. It didn't have to be, since the bridge had become a national symbol of wasteful congressional spending. But Palin did have the option of saving the project--several options actually. And there was still some support for the bridge among state and local (in Ketchikan, where the bridge was to be built) officials in Alaska.  But Palin chose to terminate the whole thing.

Top Clinton Fund-Raiser Backs McCain

By Russell Berman

NY Sun

WASHINGTON — Senator Clinton has pleaded with her supporters to back Senator Obama, but one of her most loyal backers is refusing to follow her lead.

Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, a top fund-raiser for Mrs. Clinton's primary candidacy and a member of the Democratic National Committee, is endorsing Senator McCain, warning that Mr. Obama would move the nation "too far to the left" and saying his Republican rival would bring the "bold, bipartisan, centrist change we need in Washington."

Obama Exaggerates His Influence On Stimulus Plan

Editorial

Washington Post

September 18, 2008

"In January, I outlined a plan to help revive our faltering economy, which formed the basis for a bipartisan stimulus package that passed the Congress."

Sen. Barack Obama, Golden, Colo., Sept. 16

Sen. John McCain's campaign is ridiculing Obama's assertion that his economic stimulus plan was the basis for the compromise package that was adopted by Congress and the Bush administration this year. McCain partisans point out that the Illinois senator did not even vote on the final package, which passed the Senate on Feb. 7.

CCAGW: Tax Payer Action Alert: GOP HR 6566 American Energy Act

Hello Folks:

Guys go to the website listed below concerning GOP VERSION HR 6566
Thanks

Citizens Against Government Waste

The House of Representatives is expected to vote as early as today on legislation to increase domestic supplies of energy.  Before you do anything else, I urge you in the strongest terms possible to tell your U.S. Representative to vote in favor of the American Energy Act (H.R. 6566)!

The American Energy Act does more than just lift the congressional moratorium on offshore oil and natural gas exploration, which polls show is favored by more than 60 percent of Americans.  This comprehensive energy bill encourages the development of nuclear power, oil shale, coal and alternative energies.  In addition, it cuts the red tape that has stymied the construction of oil refineries in our country for 30 years and provides tax incentives to promote fuel-efficient vehicles and homes.

Competing legislation offered by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), the “Comprehensive American Energy Security and Taxpayer Protection Act,” would currently only allow new drilling for oil and natural gas in limited areas on the Outer Continental Shelf.  It also would not grant states their fair share of revenue and royalty payments in exchange for increased drilling off their shores.  And, it would raise taxes on oil and natural gas companies, a disincentive to promoting greater investment and production of domestic energy sources.  Raising taxes on oil companies has been tried before and it left us more dependent on foreign sources of oil.

High energy prices are not only costing every American at the pump, they are increasing the cost of food, electricity, travel, and virtually every other daily expense.  What’s more, soaring energy prices are weakening our economy, fueling inflation, and contributing to the near-record federal deficits as the government’s cost of purchasing gasoline for our military and other uses has nearly doubled.

According to official estimates, enough oil exists in federal lands and off our coasts to power more than 65 million cars for 60 years, and enough natural gas exists to heat 60 million homes for 160 years.  But Congress must lift existing restrictions to allow American companies to tap this domestic resource.

The American Energy Act will not only help lower energy prices now, it will also invest in the alternative fuels that will power our economy in the future and reduce our dangerous dependence on foreign oil.

I urge you to fight back against outrageous gas prices and all the other high energy costs you’re paying.  Tell your U.S. Representative to support the “all-of-the-above” energy policy put forward in H.R. 6566, the American Energy Act, today!

Sincerely,

Thomas A. Schatz
President

Product Quality and Safety Standards in Imports, Say No to Cap and Trade

Dear Congress,

Subject:   Product Quality and Safety Standards in Imports, Say No to Cap and Trade

Melamine does not belong in our food supply and Chinese drug and food supplies do not belong on our shelves. First it was Melamine Contamination in our Pet Food and Food Supplies, then in Human Grade Rice and Wheat; next It was contaminated Heparin, Now it is Melamine contamination again in our children's food supply and baby formula, and God knows what else tomorrow.

This is just more evidence that we need to encourage American Companies to stay in the USA. We need to resume manufacturing and production in the USA.   We need to re-define, enforce, and reinforce, manufacturing standards in the USA and other countries where we have trade agreements. NAFTA may need re-evaluation and reform and finally the CAP TRADE BILL and is not in our best interest.

My disgust and anger with the Chinese Government, and their inadequate overseeing of products manufactured in their country, cannot be fully appreciated.

My anger and shock at my own Government and the US owned companies in China who are supposedly ensuring and overseeing the safety, quality and efficacy of Chinese and Mexican manufactured products is beyond palpable.

How dare you, how dare you risk the lives of your US citizens, especially the lives of defenseless human babies and children for the sake of a Politically Correct and an Inferior (at best), Trade Agreement with China or any other developing country with Lower than substandard practices in product safety, quality and efficacy.

We were given a warning almost 2 years ago at the expense of life of (once again), defenseless creatures, when by the Grace of God; we found out about the Melamine Contamination in Pet Food and in Human Grade Foods containing grain sources. Upon this discovery, all Food, Drug and most products involving product safety with China should have been suspended until there was overwhelming evidence that said products had met and in the case of China exceeded product standards.

Have we not learned our lesson? How many lives must we sacrifice before we condemn products that are substandard and dangerous before we admit there exists right and wrong. Must the American People be punished for requiring safety, quality and excellence in production-practices? Must we live an inferior life-style because other nations choose to enslave their people and despise us rather than seek our assistance to improve their lifestyles as well?

To knowingly allow, dangerous and substandard products into the USA from nations that care nothing about human lives and human dignity and/or about their safety and quality of life is beyond Totally Inexcusable and Beyond Appalling.

We must and will call upon America to boycott products from nations with less than stellar performance records until you decide to stop insulting the American public by endangering our lives for the sake of appeasing other people, who do not have the best interests of the United States and Her people in mind.

Finally, can you logically expect participation in any National Service Plan until you can willingly and effectively demonstrate your service towards "We The People"?

Further inaction is not acceptable.

Thank You, for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,
Mrs. LMH

9/11/2001, The Attack on America, We Shall Never Forget!

Today is the day we pause our daily activities to mourn and remember those 3000 plus Americans and guests from other nations who lost their lives in the WTC, Shanksville, PA and the Pentagon.  These are the loved ones, friends, family neighbors of those who are still in grief, still in mourning, still in love, embracing the memories of their dearly departed ones while struggling to continue their lives.  They lost their lives because of the delusional misconceptions, misperceptions, misguided followings and hatred by their attackers, Extreme Fundamentalist Islamic Terrorists.  They lost their lives at the hands of a people sworn to remove anyone and everyone, who did not bow to their teachings of hatred, by a god, we do not know, who is not our God, who is not a God of peace, divine love and justice.

We must remember our fallen brothers and sisters, lost in battle, who willingly sacrificed their lives to prevent this tragedy from every happening again.  These men and women are the brave members of our military, whom, to and beyond this day will still be fighting for our freedom and those the oppressed from other lands. On this day, We must remember our response both individually and as a nation! We must pray! We must remember! We shall not forget!

Before I continue, let me preface my next series of statements with a disclaimer:  I am beseeching my readers to attempt to stand in my shoes to try to understand what I am about to say, that I am Not directing my harsh words nor the sad condition of my heart to the following: all those good folks, Not of my faith; especially my moderate Muslim friends, those of my faith; those who seek peace, who display goodness, kindness and real love towards their fellow man; those trying to survive the day to day battles of living; those with integrity, honor, and a great work ethic; those of us still changing, still developing and finally those of us who have stepped away from sin and self destruction and are walking towards the light of God.

Let me remind my readership especially those of us who pounce on every opportunity for a gotcha moment.  I  am Not the villain in this story, I am Not planning to use the defenseless as carriers of destruction.  I am discussing the Extreme Radical-Fundamentalist-Actively-Murdering-Islamic-Terrorists.  Remember folks, these evil idealists decided to remove the west from their moorings.  It was not just the west they wanted to eliminate but their most hated of enemies besides Israel, The United States of America, and the citizens of this great nation, blessed by God.  To this very day, the misguided are still plotting, planning and proceeding with their evil plan of destruction and annihilation.

I am writing this day, to confess my extreme anger towards these ministers of death and my desire to overcome this great anger and disgust, that to this very day, I still feel towards these faceless, misguided, murderers of our people.  This is an anger that cannot be abated, cannot be quenched and still burns within my heart every time I see a picture or a video of these evil terrorists and their hate-driven leaders.

God help me.  God forgive me for I cannot deal with this on my own, I need your help, your grace, your peace, and your divine love Father God, through your Son Jesus The Christ.  I need the desire to forgive and forget and I cannot for how does one forgive evil.   Perhaps I am not ready to forgive or forget.  Perhaps now is not the time to forgive and forget.  Here is what I do know, the very hardness of my heart has taken hold of my very psyche and will not release it's stony grasp until the very cells of my being have fully mourned our people.  Until I face the cold reality, that this attack upon our Nation, this tragedy was beyond my control, there is nothing I can do; not until every one of these oppressors of freedom and life is physically removed from the face of the earth.   I can only pray without ceasing to overcome this desire for vengeance and to move to a place of forgiveness.  I pray it is soon.  Yes, my fellow believers in freedom, justice and moral American values, I may eventually forgive, but I will certainly never forget.

Dear Mainstream Media, Give The Lady a Chance Already!

Put down your stones, rocks, and boulders.  Put down those manure-flingin'- pitch-forks and douse those torches.  Enough is Enough.  You Left-Wing-Liberal-Manure-Media types pride yourself on tolerance, on accepting those who are different and on that most blessed word diversity.  Bull-Crap!!  In reality - You truly know little of love and acceptance or forgiveness.

You ruthlessly attack Sarah Palin and her family without consideration.  One would like to know why?  Is it because you are sexists, racists, anti-Religion, anti-Family, immoral, and unethical people?  Are you so determined to elect Mr. Obama at all costs even sacrificing children, the unborn and the weak on the altar of hedonism and left-wing lunacy?  Well, I must assume this is the truth by your very words and actions.

Sarah Palin is not an ax-murder.  She is a Vice Presidential Candidate, who in my opinion has done nothing wrong.  I will dare to say you Leftwing Media types would gladly prefer an ax-murderer than a strong woman of faith who has made more successful decisions in any one week during her term as Governor of Alaska, then Barack Obama has made in his entire lifetime.  You just don't like people who have Faith, morals and ethics do you?  This is evident by your targeting the Defenseless, The Weak, The Faithful, and Those with Strength of Character.

Stop attacking the families of candidates.  Stop printing lies and half-truths about people who do not fit into your left-wing agenda.

Please note: you attacked us if we questioned anything about Mr. Obama, a man you elevate as godlike, as Obamapolis if you will, but even Obama has denounced attacking families as wrong and that he would fire any of his staff for starting and spreading rumors.  Take a lesson from Obama why don't you, or will you turn on him; when he no longer fullfills your will.

Let me warn you Manure Media Types and Loony Liberals who wish to persist in this smear campaign of Sarah Palin or anyone else who is not of your agenda.  Should you persist, you, yourselves will become the hounded.  This my friends is my promise to you. This is a fairly nice posting, but I would beware of the bear who becomes angered and offensive; for the bear's pen is truly mightier than the sword.

I truly wish to thank you Main-Stream-Manure-Media and Left-Wing-Lunactic-Liberal-people for strengthening my determination to vote for the "McCain-Palin Presidential" ticket.

Thank You,

Mrs. LMH

Now Is The Time for Oil Drilling, Part 3, GC Crisis, SOR

Dear Mr. McCain,

Subject: Request for Tapping Strategic Oil Reserves by Governor of Louisianna

We all knew one day an emergency would arise and we would need to tap the SOR, this is now a reality.  The dude needs the fuel and it would criminal to deny the brother.  In order to keep the SOR solvent we will need to replace what is used.  So now is the time to seriously start drilling in the ANWR and US Coastal Regions.

Please remind the President, Congress, the Senate and whoever else, that Our American Citizens on the Gulf Coast Need our Help.  They have an energy shortage, and the need is great.  Hospitals are running on generators they have just enough fuel for how much longer before they run out and lives will be endangered.  What more of a reason does one need to drill for oil in The ANWR and off the entire coast of the U.S?   This is no longer just an incidence of oil addiction or just a temporary shortage or an environmental concern.  This is a now the certainty of need and survival, physically and economically.  Knowing this information and not acting on this information is unconscienable and criminal.

Now is the time to drill for oil; mine for coal; produce and refine whatever natural resources we can find.   We have had enough of this tiptoeing around, while not upsetting everyone.  We can't wait for the oil moratorium to expire in October Now is the time to prepare ourselves for any calamity.  Now is the time for energy independence.  Should we wait for another disaster?  I think Not.  The Next Hurricane could hit anywhere from Florida to the mid-atlantic states.  Did anyone hear Governor Jindal's appeal for energy?  One may assume, If the brother needs oil then that entire region needs oil including: Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisianna, Florida, etc who am I missing.

Remember winter is a coming, do we really want to make survival difficult for those of us in the animal kingdom called human beings, who wear clothes, walk upright, speak a language and make and use tools.

What Sayeth Thou?

Sincerely,

Mrs. LMH

An Infant's Right to Life In and Out of The Womb

I urge you to view this video and others on youtube and then read my e-mail response.

Col. Harry Riley

A Killer Of Babies - A Disgusting, Immoral Coward

Kill that baby so I can get Planned Parenthood support..........this is the attitude of Obama....politicing with the lives of the unborn...does it get more despicable?

How can a civilized society put up with this,,,I don't care what you political party is,,,everyone has a heart...what has happened to America...if this doesn't break you heart, it's stopped beating.....

http://www.youtube.com:80/watch?v=VIdbYjmbFzo

McCain isn't much better. He won't touch Roe v. Wade.......and claims to be pro-life.

Harry Riley, COL, USA, Ret

Dear Col. Riley,

Thank you for your e-mail.  I remain inconsolable.  I am about to post this letter in my Townhall.com blog that may silence my writing in this blog forever, I covet your prayers and support for whatever the outcome.

I must take the stand for those who cannot speak for themselves.  God requires it.

Having reluctantly watched the video in horror, I could not help but wonder what form of  demonic, maniacs exist posing as " human beings ie; presidential candidates, politicians, thinking, supposedly feeling caring women ,and the worst affront of all "health care professionals" (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, technicians anyone in the field) who while promising to do no harm, willingly cause the death of a life in the womb.

Abortion, shocking and diabolical enough when the baby is killed within the womb, how much more abominable, when a near or full term baby delivered from the womb; who proves itself to be a viable, breathing, suffering, fighting to live human being outside of the womb; is then intentionally left to die without even the smallest attempt to provide critical medical intervention.  These babies feel pain, they want to be held and loved and are instead thrown away as trash - oh the anguish, the heartbreak.   There is no difference between abortion and the slaughtering of the innocents in the bible.

May God's judgment be upon these people.  Cause them, Oh Lord, to confess their sin or face Your Just Hand and the punishment that awaits them for knowingly, with full consent and awareness for continuously, practicing this sin.

I will NOT support any candidate, party or government who willingly justifies the murder of the unborn child, or any living, breathing child, including supporting any form of condoned euthanasia.

I will NOT vote for anyone supporting abortion and I would write in a pro-life candidate, even if it be my own.

Lord God change our hearts to be more like yours,

God Help and forgive America and judge us not because of the sins of others but strengthen, those your faithful in condemning the unprovoked death of the tiny and the helpless.

In Jesus Name Amen!

The Lord bless and keep you for your vigilance.

CAGW's Porker of The Month: Our Favorite Aunt and Uncle

Yes Indeedy Peeps,

Please read about Hancy's and Narry's voting record on various bills since January 2008, quite the chuckle, I do say.
Also read about other note-worthy indictments.

e-News from CAGW

Porker of the Month:  Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Reid

Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) has named Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) Porkers of the Month for leading a do-nothing Congress into a five-week recess.  Of the 106 bills enacted since January, 94 -- or 89 percent -- were to name government buildings or lands, extend or make technical corrections to existing laws, or passed either by unanimous consent or with less than 10 dissenting votes.  The dubious accomplishments include “Frank Sinatra Day,” “National Plumbing Industry Week,” and “National Day of the Cowboy.”  In addition, the congressional leaders have deliberately ignored the October 1 deadline for passing the 12 annual appropriations bills.  Only one of the bills has passed the House, and the House Appropriations Committee has approved only four others.  In the Senate, the Appropriations Committee has approved nine, but none has reached the floor.  The Speaker and Majority Leader appear to be awaiting the presidential election, hoping that the winner will favor higher spending and more earmarks.  They had also wanted to avoid a vote on the moratorium on offshore oil drilling, which is typically renewed through the appropriations process, though they reversed course last week and said they would allow a vote.  For leaving town after Congress has spent nearly all of its time on frivolous legislation and failing to address critical issues, CAGW names Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid the August 2008 Porkers of the Month.  Read more about the Porker of the Month.

CAGW Cites Sen. Stevens' Pork following Indictment

CAGW has brought widespread attention to Sen. Ted Stevens’ (R-Alaska) lengthy record of securing special interest, pork-barrel projects following his indictment by the Justice Department at the end of last month on seven counts of failing to disclose $250,000 worth of gifts from a corporate benefactor.  Sen. Stevens helped take home a total of 1,452 pork-barrel projects worth $3.4 billion between 1995 and 2008, and Alaska has been the number one state in pork per capita every year since 1999.  Some of Sen. Stevens’ more infamous earmarks include $25 million for a supercomputer to study how to trap energy from the aurora borealis; $750,000 for grasshopper research; $500,000 for the Alaska Spruce Bark Beetle Task Force; $200,000 for the city of North Pole for recreation improvements; and $176,000 for the Reindeer Herder’s Association.  Sen. Stevens also defended the $223 million earmark for Alaska’s notorious “Bridge to Nowhere” on the Senate floor in 2005, threatening to resign his seat if Congress removed funding for the bridge.  “The incarceration of two members of Congress and the conviction or confession of numerous staff members in relation to earmarks has done nothing to rein in the proliferation of pork on Capitol Hill.  This latest allegation about the abuse of power will be ignored at members’ peril,” warned CAGW President Tom Schatz.  Read more about Sen. Stevens' indictment.  See his "Pork Tally."

CCAGW Cheers Closure of Pell Grant Sex Offender Loophole

The Council for Citizens Against Government Waste (CCAGW) this month expressed support for a provision in the Higher Education Opportunity Act (H.R. 4137) that will redirect wasteful Pell Grants from sex offenders to the hard-working students who need them.  Prison inmates have been banned from receiving Pell Grants since 1994, and some students convicted of drug offenses are barred.  However, repeat sex criminals who have served their sentences but are deemed too dangerous to be allowed back into society are kept in civil confinement centers and have remained eligible for the grants.  The provision closing the loophole, introduced by Rep. Ric Keller (R-Fla.), became law as part of H.R. 4137 on August 14.  “With every penny of Pell Grants needed for students, it was inexcusable for the federal government to be providing any money to sex offenders,” declared CCAGW President Tom Schatz.  “Rep. Keller deserves the thanks of every taxpayer.”  In Florida in one year alone, 54 of the most violent sexual offenders in one center obtained Pell Grants at taxpayer expense of more than $200,000.  With 20 other states employing civil confinement centers, millions of dollars have been wasted.    Read more about the Pell Grant loophole.

California's Computers Can't Calculate Minimum Numbers

CAGW this month highlighted a report from the August 5, 2008 Sacramento Bee in California about how antiquated state government computers have been unable to comply with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s (R) order that all state employees receive the minimum wage until a budget is adopted.  State Controller John Chang told the Bee that “it would take at least six months to reconfigure the state’s payroll system,” which he described as relying on “vacuum tubes and floppy disks.”  California is not the first state to experience problems with its old-fashioned mainframe computers.  In 2007, Virginia experienced a hardware failure in one of its mainframes that impacted several agencies, most notably the Departments of Motor Vehicles, Social Services, and Taxation.  Recently, the courts system in Texas switched from mainframes to a network-based electronic filing system.  Now, court clerks and attorneys can themselves file electronically and view documents, saving time and potentially millions of dollars.  “Legacy computer systems like the ones used in California are outdated, slow, and costly,” said CAGW President Tom Schatz.  “CAGW supports the investment necessary to improve the use of technology by all levels of government.  Unfortunately, legislators in Washington, D.C. and state capitals have not provided sufficient oversight or funding for these projects.”  Read more about California's legacy computer system.
