Do You Oppose or Support the Auto Industry Bailout?

Hi Folks:

Do you oppose or support the Auto Industry Bailout?
Go to Congress.org and voice your opinion I did.
Read below.  Here's what I wrote.

Mr. President, Senators and House Representatives forgive me but I am going to be blunt: I oppose the $25 billion in emergency loans to the auto industry because there is a Bankruptcy Law titled Chapter 11, Restructuring, let them file for that first then we'll talk. I had to file bankruptcy a while ago, (not a pleasant experience) and trust me I felt like a failure.
Oh, Mr. Paulson, You were going to tell us that the bailout was not working, When?? I should have gone with my first instinct, to oppose the 700 billion dollar Bailout, and did I?  No, I foolishly placed my trust in a government that spends money like drunken sailors. (No offense against our military).   Why was there no accountability? Why would we give money without a repayment plan or at least a hand-written post-it saying where the 700 billion is going? He, Who Fails to Plan, Plans to Fail!! I am sorry Mr. President, but I need to speak my mind before I reduce another female bill collector to tears.  We were all duped Sir, including you.
To answer your question, do I support another failed bailout of some company, bank or other entity that did not use there brains or their money correctly?  Heck No!!

As are many Americans in our beloved USA, my husband and I are struggling to make ends meet at this moment and we are both not well people.   Much of our combined income is used to pay our mortgage due partially to our excessive property taxes (which is more than are dang mortgage) and partially because of our current income.   I have a few disabilities that limit any full-time employment. I am trying to go back to some sort of part-time employment but it is slow going.   A few years ago, my poor husband was laid-off after 30 years of faithful service and had to start his career at square-one.  Fortunately, his New Employers appreciate him because he does his job well, plays by the rules and gets along well with others, which is more than I can say for the Elementary School Kids, we elected to represent us! (Our side did not win many Senate or House seats let alone the Presidency, bummer)!! Well one can't have everything can one, but gee whiz, a small break would be nice!

In Summary: Though I am against the Auto Company Bailout, I am not totally heartless, if you can do a structured bailout with a real logical plan of action and not just throw money from the dome of the Capitol then perhaps I will reconsider.  Now mind you, it must be a real working plan not the Moonlight Madness Shopping Spree.   In the meantime, go to all parties involved, from union leaders, employee representatives, and the company suits, put them in a big room and flip a coin or arm wrestle and nobody leaves the room until you guys reach a plan.

Happy Holidays, God Bless and My Best to You All.
